Kathleen Scanlon, RA, NCARB, founded Arboreal Roots in 2024 to focus on residential design and to build a network of freelance architects and BIM specialists to fill in the gaps for other architects across the US. After working in a variety of architecture firms both small and large, she realized that staffing an architecture office with full time employees sometimes didn’t make sense. With the ebb and flow of projects, it seemed like there should be a better way. Arboreal Roots hopes to help smaller architecture firms by creating a network of trusted architects and BIM specialists that can be called on when extra hands are needed. Let’s team up!
